About the Founder — Leah N. Kuria
Consulting Clinical Psychologist | Licensed Counselor | Mental Wellness Advocate
Leah N. Kuria is a Consulting Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Psychological Counselor with over 10 years of professional experience supporting individuals, families, and organizations in achieving psychological wellness and behavioral change.
Her work is driven by a deep passion for the brain, behavior, and human potential, particularly in guiding teenagers and young adults through behavior change, emotional regulation, and conscious choice-making. Leah is also a Certified NLP Corporate Coach, EMDR Level 3 Practitioner, and Somatic Experience Therapist, committed to delivering evidence-based and compassionate care.
Throughout her career, Leah has supported diverse populations through individual, family, and group therapy, addressing challenges related to workplace stress, trauma recovery, substance abuse, and family dynamics. She has also been instrumental in helping organizations build psychologically healthy work environments by designing wellness programs, policies, and staff support systems.
As a trainer and facilitator, Leah has conducted workshops and training sessions on psychosocial health, psychological disability awareness, crisis preparedness, workplace well-being, and stress management. Her expertise in summarizing data and identifying behavioral trends has helped shape effective mental health programs across multiple settings.
Leah holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Health. Masters in Neuro Linguistics Programming, Masters in Neuropsychology in View. EMDR Level 3 and Level 2 Somatic Experience. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer. Additionally, she is certified in Conflict Resolution, Trainer of Trainers (ToT), and Child Psychology, with a Higher Diploma in Counsellor Supervision Psychology.
